About
Reliable, responsible and results-oriented, The Trusted Tutor is known throughout the Nashville/Brentwood/Franklin areas. Contact me to learn how tutoring will benefit your child- and take away that added stress!

Reading
From learning and practicing the basics of reading to diving more into literary analysis and reading comprehension, tutoring for reading is one of the most popular requests. Depending on the age and needs, we may do our own book study, work on the school supplied book, or do "fun" mini lessons to practice things like plot vs. theme!

Math
Are you interested in working with a professional Tutoring Service? We supply all the equipment and skills necessary to tackle just about every type of job our clients have for us, no matter how big or small it may be.
We’re committed to providing consistently reliable service in a timely and professional manner.

Writing
Writing skills are not just for essays anymore! Thanks to the Common Core, math now has lots of writing in it. So whether you need help with paragraph formation, essay organization or yes- even math writing, we can help.

Spanish
With a minor in the language and a Master's degree in Bilingual Education, Spanish is my secret favorite! Whether you're wanting your child to learn a second language that they're not getting in school, or you want them to practice/advance on with their language development, I'm your girl! Hablemos!

Handwriting/ Cursive
Research tells us that cursive writing benefits thinking, language and working memory. Additionally, fine motor skills develop while working hand in hand with (no pun intended!) with visual and tactile processing. This all aids in cognitive development... and you thought it was just a pretty way to write!

Executive Functioning
Executive Function is learning HOW to study. In other words, we want your child to work SMARTER, not harder! EF is a broad term that encompasses note-taking tips, organizing notebooks/folders/school supplies in order to be set up for success!

"Mrs. A brought the best out of my son. He was always happy after working with her and was ready for 3rd grade after a few sessions with her in the summer."
-Mom of 3rd grader

"Mrs. A. was a wonderful help to my high school son who felt he was too old for a “tutor”. In spite of busy sports and social schedules so typical of teens, she met him where and when it was convenient for him. He progressed a great deal in the subjects in which she was helping him. We highly recommend Mrs. A.!"
